About Us
Love & Care Daycare is a Black woman–owned childcare program that has proudly served families in our community for over 10 years. Built on a foundation of trust, consistency, and compassion, our daycare is a place where children are nurtured, supported, and encouraged to grow.
The owner and primary caregiver, Yemi, brings over 20 years of hands-on experience in childcare. Her passion for working with children began early and has grown into a lifelong commitment to providing safe, loving, and high-quality care. Yemi believes that every child deserves patience, respect, and individual attention, and she treats each child as if they were her own. She has also won Best Daycare in Richmond 2 years in a row, as well as raving reviews from parents.
At Love and Care Daycare, we focus on creating an environment where children feel comfortable, secure, and confident, allowing parents to feel at ease knowing their most precious gift is in caring hands. Through a balance of play, learning, and structure, we support children’s emotional, social, and developmental growth.
We are proud to be a community-centered daycare that values family, culture, and inclusion. Our goal is not only to care for children but to partner with parents in helping each child thrive.
